The Parade
Marching Bands, Boots, Marching, Veterans, Cadets, Vehicles,
Re-enactors, Boats and Aircraft will make up the prestigious military parade taking place in Lee on the Solent on Saturday 20th September free for all to enjoy.
From its assembly in the old Naval base HMS Daedalus the parade will set out on its 1 mile route out onto Richmond Road, along Montserrat Road, High St. Beach Road and Marine Parade, where the salute will be taken by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire office.
All that’s needed is a good weather* meaning we can get as many of the community to line the roads and seafront to watch this planned spectacle,
Living History
Living Historians and Re-enactors come and be part of Lee Victory Festival
The Lee Victory Festival is a festival designed to commemorate British and Commonwealth Military victory from WW2, especially VE and VJ day, but to include all theatres up to modern day. This year’s event is going to be bigger and better than the last one, with the team having decided to focus massively on the re-enactment/living history sector.
The living history field, based on the historic WW2 Daedalus Airfield site at Lee on the Solent, means that we have more than ample space within a secure, fenced area on the airfield. And includes both grassed and hard stand areas with multiple, monitored, gated, entry/exit access for vehicles.
Within this area we are looking too be showing Military vehicles including Trucks, recovery units and Armoured units (Tanks, Half Tracks, Ferrets, Saracens, Scorpions, CVRT’s, Scammels, ANTARS etc), plus war time Commercial vehicles such as Trucks, Fire Engines, Vans etc and period Cars.
Therefore, we are looking for groups and individuals, with or without vehicles, and in particular for those who would like to be more interactive with the public.

Military Charities
Come and tell your story about the good work & services you provide at the Lee Victory Festival, it's FREE for military charities to attend.
Aircraft
Both on the sky and on the ground there will be various aircraft for you to come and see with a flying display over the old WWII airfield and as a static display for you look at.
As organisers we are looking for Vintage aircraft from the period of the 1930's-40's & Post War to attend & be part of both our air and static display. For LVF25 there will be the introduction of grandstand seating.
