The Lee Victory Festival will be one the largest community celebration in Hampshire, helping us to commemorate both the 76th anniversary of VE & VJ Days. Our ancestors and veterans, will be honoured for sacrificing their freedom; to give us ours.  It is imperative that we share their stories to create a living legacy, both today and for future generations.

To help with the awareness of the event and to remember those fallen heroes we are promoting the musical track called 'Reverie' composed by Robby Toner (https://www.facebook.com/pg/robbytonermusic) who's given LVF the permission to use the track as its theme tune for the event. We are very honoured to be able to use this such amazing and relevant song,  Thank you Robby.

This 1940’s themed event is being held in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire, a village by the sea overlooking the Solent thus giving the event a coastal backdrop. The event will be held in various areas including the High Street, Recreation Ground, Seafront and Church across the weekend.

Originally called LEE VE75, which was to be held to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day on May 8th 2020., but like many others had to be cancelled because of COVID-19.

Now with it's planning and secured sponsorship the event has been remanded the Lee Victory Festival and will be delivered over three days using several areas around the outdoor venue of Lee where there will be the presence of HM Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire. Nigel Atkinson on the Saturday and representation on Sunday.

Have a listen of the HM Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire's, Nigel Atkinson VJ Day speech which was purposely written for LVF and delivered on the 15th August 2020.

The event organisers are looking to attract re-enacting WWII groups who deliver living history and vintage stalls and traders all to come and be part of this inaugural event, which is aiming to become synonymous for both   VE & VJ Day remembrance and celebrations.

If you would like to help us with the event, either through taking up a paid stall; providing entertainment or volunteering on the day; please contact us.  We need you!  Why not come a join our ever growing Facebook Group, click here to join

Event tickets will be available via this website once full details of the COVID-19 pandemic is fully understood, so pop back to keep up to date with the event and follow us on Facebook.

Like many events sponsorship is very key to its delivery and success. We have various packages available and you can also join us in the VIP area (sponsored by Little Kanga Ltd) where you can socialise, network and promote your business with local dignitaries and other sponsors?

With the build up for LEE VE75 we have been supported by the following local businesses and associations who have provided the necessary funding & support to get everything in place, so we are very thankful to them and we now look forward to delivering the actual Lee Victory Festival event in May 2021 for them.
