Come & get in the spirit of 1945

Red, White and Blue will be the colours of the day, with bunting and flags, the centre of Lee will be taken back to the 1940's.


Feeling nostalgic? Why not get in the spirit and feel free to come dressed in 1940's civilian dress or military uniform. There are prizes for the best dressed, women, man, boy and girl!


Whilst period dress is nice to have, it’s not essential as because your company is more important to us throughout the day from the parade through to the evening musical picnic, so please come along and enjoy the music, stalls, food & drink vendors and dancing; perhaps the soldiers may even have some silk stockings!

If you are a stall trader, food or drink vendor and you would like to have a pitch then please send through your details to request a booking form .

Throughout the day and evening of Lee Victory Festival the organisers have brought together a variety of entertainers for all of the family to enjoy.

For all performance details regarding Times and Locations together with other interesting information, poems, history and event map, please make sure you get your hands on one of the Event Commemorative Programmes', these will be on sale throughout the day,

Its All In The Swing

Ever changing sound from Male to Female vocals Grace and Mickey with fabulous Harmonies and Duets will be performing at LEE VE75 on Saturday

Punch & Pudy

There will be performances of the classic version of this much loved British entertainment that's full of slapstick silliness and knock-about nonsense will give the perfect entertainment of this for all the family, not just the children.

Nick Cook Childrens Entertainer

Nick Cook - Circus Entertainer / Performer is to be part of LEE VE75 by adding something a little different to keep all entertained especially the little ones. In his military attire, Nick will be at the event all day delivering Stilt Walking, Balloon Modelling & Circus Acts together with his Glow Show.


Come and enjoy a a family funfair suitable for all, packed full of rides, stalls & inflatables,

Cam the Piper

Cam will be part of the opening event of the days activities, come along and listen to his musical bag pipes; a sound that will set the tone for the day ahead. 

The Knightingales

Andy, Simon and Sue are “Just Jazz”. Our music is a mix of jazz standards from the 1930’s combined with some quirky takes on modern tunes.

Dolly & Gracy

The double act that are ‘Dolly & Gracie’ have become legends in the vintage events world. They are adept in providing the ultimate comedy tonic - hilarious, warm and full of energy...and you never quite know what they will do next. Love ‘em!”

The Southsea Belles

Sarah, Katy & Lauren who form the close harmony 40s/50s trio act The Southsea Belles will be performing twice throughout  the day 

Face Painting

Face painting will be available during the day.


Winston Churchill

Steve is the most authentic Churchill ‘Living History’ actor - lookalike in the UK today.  An Actor of Film, Television, Radio as well as 1940’s Weekends across the UK


Jennifer    Parker-Lummis

Jennifer is a local soprano based in Gosport will be performing during LEE VE75.

Trained at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Jennifer will be singing various classical tunes.​

Sparky & Sprite

Mark ‘Sparky’ Harding and Anne ‘Sprite’ Jeffery-Harding are an experienced duo who sing songs from the 1940’

Roy Coombes

Roy is a relaxed and easy singer who will be performing all the classic vintage 40’s songs for all to enjoy; If you like the music of the 40's, you will love this guy!

Debbie Cobbet

Debbie is a multi-genre vocalist and can tailor her shows to a specific theme and we are really pleased that we’re going to hear her dulcet tones through her set of wartime 1940’s music to entertain the visitors to LEE VE75 during the day.



Covergirlz are a quad/band, of young at heart, highly experienced, highly professional musicians who are guaranteed to get you in the mood with their Vintage Sweethearts Show performing to reminiscent of the wartime greats.

The Bessie Cursons Theatre & Dance Academy

The Bessie Cursons Theatre & Dance Academy offers a wide range of specialist theatre and dance classes for aspiring young performers. At LEE VE75 they will be performing something very special to celebrate the legacy of VE Day for our today's generations​

Just Jazz Trio

The Rose & Thistle Pipes and Drums

The Gosport and Portsmouth based band has been entertaining the southern counties of England, especially Hampshire, for over 60 years!

As the name suggests, they play the Great Highland Bagpipes, the Scottish Side Drum, Tenors and Bass, so we are sure they are going to certainly entertain the crowds.
